The intimacy archive is the artists documentation of a period of intense intimacy between herself and her partner through England’s second lockdown, during the Covid pandemic. A series of daily cyanotype portraits explore the comfort and claustrophobia of two people separated from other connections, finding beauty in the smallest detail, creating fantasy worlds and turning bodies into sculptures. Their bodies; together and alone. Each print was made only once, accepting faults and imperfect exposure as part of the process. There was both tenderness and strength in the exploration.
